THE SONDHEIM FESTIVAL

Christine Scarry and Red Alchemy Theatre Company, in association with Kilkenny Arts Office, are honoured to present THE SONDHEIM FESTIVAL - Ireland’s first festival to celebrate the life and work of the legendary Stephen Sondheim.

The latest addition to Kilkenny’s cultural calendar, THE SONDHEIM FESTIVAL will take place over the weekend of 23-24 July, with the main events being held at the Watergate Theatre.

Events include a gala concert with Broadway legend, Liz Callaway, choral workshop, 1:1 performance masterclasses, lectures, fun quiz, family charity walk, painting in the pub, and even a millinery masterclass – all with a Sondheim twist!
